The dinner banquet started late as the golf tournament was delayed due to unfavorable weather conditions, but it definitely did not affect the mood of the participants!
At the dinner, ACCI Vice President Maria Tjeng and ACC Singapore President Colin Goh briefed the participants on Africa ACC and the activities of ACC Singapore. It was hoped that the participants would have a better understanding of the work of ACC and that they would be able to help and care for the vulnerable African children in the future.
Colin Goh pointed out that the golf tournament provided a platform for ACC to foster closer friendship with the child sponsors and kind individuals. He hoped that the ACC golf tournament will continue in the future, as it not only benefited mind and body, but also created an opportunity to make new friends and exchange ideas.
There was a special auction held during the dinner, with art works donated by local calligrapher Lee Siah Peng and visual artist SH Peh. In addition, there was an autographed memento by Tiger Woods from twenty years ago! The highlight of the evening was the lucky draw, where 41 exquisite prizes were given to the participants. The participants exclaimed that it was a night of great food and wonderful gifts, and definitely a splendid evening!
See you all again at next year’s Golf Tournament!
