ACC Africa
Boarding School
Malawi (Lilongwe) Campus

ACC Lilongwe was completed the first phase of construction on November 6, 2021. This phase includes two children’s villages and one staff dormitory. Each children’s village is designed with two floors, comprising a total of 12 housing units. Each unit consists of 2 rooms, capable of accommodating 8 children per room. Therefore, each building can potentially house up to 384 children. The staff dormitory, also a two stories design, features 44 rooms with private bathrooms and currently serves as accommodation for overseas volunteer staff.

Due to lower number of children, the second floor of the first children’s village serves as the living area for the children, while the first floor temporarily functions as administrative offices, teacher offices, grain storage, administrative and children’s item storage, a temporary Buddhist hall, and a temporary dining hall. In the second children’s village, the first floor is temporarily used as school classrooms for grades S1 to S6, a music room, a gathering area for morning assemblies, and a rainy day exercise area. The second floor serves as accommodation for local teachers and staff. If the number of children increases and additional space is needed, local teachers and staff will relocate to the staff dormitory for accommodation.
